Owen G. Fiore, JD has 50 years of experience and expertise in advising family business owners, CPAs and other tax professionals on Family Estate & Succession Planning dealing not only with businesses but also involving passive investment assets. Mr. Fiore received his Juris Doctor law degree from Loyola University School of Law, Los Angeles, having previously received his B.B.A. (Accounting), summa cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Upon becoming a CA lawyer, Owen practiced tax and estate planning law, including tax disputes resolution and litigation, for over 40 years, before relocating to Idaho to continue consulting and CPE activities. Currently, his online webinars cover 6 course areas, all related to estate and succession planning for high wealth families.
While practicing law in California, Mr. Fiore was active in teaching, including at two law schools as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and in presenting tax subjects at many national, regional and local tax institutes and conferences – including the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, the Heckerling Estate Planning Institute in Florida, the Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute, various CA CPA Education Foundation courses and conferences, as well as AICPA tax and estate planning conferences. Over the years Mr. Fiore has been a commentator for Leimberg Information Services, Inc. (LISI) online Newsletters on tax and estate planning subjects.
Owen’s broad an in-depth experience both as a tax lawyer and more recently as a non-lawyer consultant based in Idaho provides attendees of Fiore webinars, as well as consulting clients for Fiore Wealth Planning Consulting, with proactive, practical solutions to wealth planning and succession problems. His online webinars include many case studies and practical real-life planning examples and solutions for webinar attendees.
