Mr. Fiore received his Juris Doctor law degree from Loyola University School of Law, Los Angeles, having previously received his B.B.A. (Accounting), summa cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Upon becoming a CA lawyer, Owen practiced tax and estate planning law, including tax disputes resolution and litigation, for over 40 years, before relocating to Idaho to continue consulting and CPE activities. Currently, his online webinars cover 6 course areas, all related to estate and succession planning for high wealth families.
While practicing law in California, Mr. Fiore was active in teaching, including at two law schools as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and in presenting tax subjects at many national, regional and local tax institutes and conferences – including the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, the Heckerling Estate Planning Institute in Florida, the Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute, various CA CPA Education Foundation courses and conferences, as well as AICPA tax and estate planning conferences. Over the years Mr. Fiore has been a commentator for Leimberg Information Services, Inc. (LISI) online Newsletters on tax and estate planning subjects.
