Mentors are teachers. But sponsors go the step beyond to teaching to opening doors to social networks, promotion opportunities, developmental assignments, and key people.

This session will discuss career Sponsor vs Mentor and will show how sponsors go the step beyond mentoring.

Not everyone knows how to identify people who can help them with their work and their careers. Yet research indicates that successful people have had more than one person who has been their teachers and also helped them advance in their careers. Individuals can have more than one sponsor.
